Emma & Olly’s Wedding – London

It was about a year ago when Emma (my sister-in-law) calls up my wife to tell her that she has set a date for her wedding…29th of December 2012, “it will be great” she says, “you can bring the family back for Christmas, come to the wedding and have New Years in London.  Oh by the way I have decided Brad is the photographer”.

“Well of course I am your photographer Emma.  Even if you didn’t choose me I would have taken a million photos of your day”

I was a little concerned at first about spending my life savings on 4 plane tickets in return for 3 weeks in the middle of winter in the UK (not to mention trying to shoot a wedding in the rain).  In the end I am so glad Emma chose that date….I think she got it spot on!  Not only did we get to attend the wedding, we got to have Christmas and New Years in the UK as well.  Just like old times!

I hope everyone likes these photos but most importantly I hope Emma loves them……

These are some of the loveliest and relaxed wedding photos I’ve ever seen. The photography is creative, at times intimate and hugely atmospheric so that one feels part of the event. I love the alternation of black and white with colour and the way you have used the environment. Delightful. You have captured the sheer joy so apparent in all.
